Pearl Academy, the leading art, design and fashion institute hosted the “Creative Careers Conclave”, in Mumbai at Nehru Enclave, Worli. The interactive programme witnessed a creatively charged audience wanting to know more about the dynamics of the world of art, design and fashion- as an education, a career and a creative pursuit. The eager audience witnessed a blend of parents and future budding minds. The workshop was attended by 250 students and their parents.
The event saw an esteemed panel of ingenious ‘art’smen from the world of design, fashion bibles, graphics and film making. The Sunday morning that went, experienced a crisp dialogue between the audience and panelists like Fashion Designer Narender Kumar, Fashion Critic Meher Castellino, prolific Graphic Designer Vikas Satwalekar and Producer and Filmmaker David James Baker. The creative amalgamation of dreams, choices and learning saw an artistically put together essay of vocations inclined towards the finer things of life.
Speaking about the workshop, Mr. Sharad Mehra, CEO, Pearl Academy, said, “With this event we mark our foray into the Mumbai market. We are looking forward to our journey in this city and the dream run the city poses in front of us. The event today has helped us reach out to the budding creative think-tanks of tomorrow, people who are waiting in the wings to create their footprint on the national map. We start our admission process in January 2014 and this was a good teaser for our prospective students”

The event was designed in a manner that not only had the four gurus have the audience journey through their individual paths of aspirations, hard-work and artistic canvases, but also saw these creative advocates take small pit-stops to engage the audiences with work-life scenarios, interesting anecdotes and inputs from Pearl Academy’s alumni.
