New ITBP Central Training College at Alwar

The foundation stone for 490.43 acre Indo Tibetian Border Police (ITBP) new Central Training College (CTC) at Alwar will be laid on Sunday. The laying of the stone will be held at village- Bera near Nangla Bajirka situated at a distance of 25 kilometers from Alwar city. This is the first unique institutional establishment plan of the ITBP in Rajasthan.

Indo Tibetan Border Police, the Central Armed Police Force is going to have its separate Central Training College (CTC) for the purpose of training its Subordinate Officers. In this Training College, various basic, advance and in-service professional training courses will be conducted for subordinate officers of ITBP.

ITBP has proposed to construct a Hospital and a Central School in these premises. Being deployed in high Himalayas, ITBP has extraordinary experience in various professional aspects of Mountaineering, Skiing, River rafting, Rock climbing etc. It also provides specialized training in rescue and relief operations to its men. The State administration will now have an option available to respond to any disaster like situation with this Centre established in Alwar.



The proposed construction of CTC will cater for Administrative Block, Residential buildings, Hospital, Central School, Training infrastructure and Firing range etc. The expected expenditure on these constructions is Rs. 243 crore.
