LeapPad 2 – kid’s learning tablet to be launched to India

After a successful launch of LeapPad Explorer last year, the company’s LeapPad 2 tablet delivers education filled with entertainment and creative exploration. LeapPad 2 with its best-in-class learning solution offers an extensive library of learning games, eBooks, videos, music and more.

LeapPad 2 – recommended for children aged between 3 to 9 years, presents more engaging learning experiences than ever before with features like front-and-back cameras and video recorders, a faster LF 2000 processor and 4GB memory. With its 5” stylus included touch screen, HD-like graphics and motion based apps stimulates a real and interactive experience. Children can build reading confidence with innovative book apps providing a fully interactive reading experience with visual say-it, sound-it support and state-of-the-art game play, all housed in a durable, kid-friendly design. LeapPad2 also has improved battery life and is compatible with a new internal battery system and recharger pack available separately.

Additional games, Ultra eBooks and accessories are also available separately which can be downloaded from the library of over 125 titles in the on-line LeapFrog App Store. The games include animated characters like Minnie Mouse, Hello Kitty & Friends and eBooks based on movies like Cars 2, Cinderella, Tinkerbell among others. LeapFrog has also introduced a new Learn to Read Collection of Ultra eBooks that features the 300 keywords for early readers to help build phonics and decoding skills, sight word recognition and reading comprehension. This new series includes story classics from Fairy Tales to Adventure Stories.
